Fortnum & Mason. Chalkboard. Sign writing. Piccadilly. London.

Spent a day last week roaming around the seemingly endless corridors, stairways and shopping areas of Fortnum & Mason's flagship store in Piccadilly, London. I wasn't just there to look confused and to bother people for directions, I also had the time to create an 8-foot by 5-foot step and repeat board (or 'press board') for an event they're having shortly. The purpose of it I hear you ask? Well, they snap photos of celebrities and VIP's in front of the board whilst they're attending the event and everyone gets a bit of publicity from it. Voila!

Chalkboard menu signwriting whilst at home on my sofa, in my PJ's.

As the title suggests, this time I lounged around at home drinking copious amounts of coffee, whilst signwriting, and what a nice change that was.
The menu itself is for a brand-spanking new coffee shop opening up in Henfield called Pannisa, and if the content of the menu and friendliness of the owners are anything to go by, then this coffee shop will be a corker.

Signwriting. Chalkboards. Blackboards. A busy two weeks.

After a mental (very busy) couple of weeks, I have finally gotten around to posting the latest images of my signwriting and chalkboard exploits. They include a trip down the road to my local Vodka Revolution bar to do some signwriting, a train ride to Portsmouth to draw up some monstrously large menus at All Bar One in Gunwarf Quays, and a bus ride to my local climbing centre in Brighton. Lovely.
